AI and Assessment Integrity Policy

Version 2026-09-06 · Effective September 6, 2026

This policy explains how artificial intelligence is used on the Bitcoin Pivot learning platform, what we do with your inputs, and the integrity rules that apply to assessments.

1. Where AI is used

  • Study assistance: an assistant that answers questions grounded in the lesson you are reading.
  • Assessment feedback: plain-language explanation of concepts you missed, after an attempt is graded.
  • Lesson narration: synthetic audio narration of lesson text.
  • Authoring support for administrators when drafting or revising course material.

2. What AI does not do

  • It does not grade your assessments. Grading is deterministic and performed on our servers against the stored answer key.
  • It does not decide credential outcomes, pass or fail results, or integrity flags.
  • It does not perform facial recognition or biometric identification.
  • It does not give financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Assistant output is educational only and may contain errors — verify anything you plan to act on.

3. Your inputs

Questions you ask the assistant, and the lesson context needed to answer them, are sent to our model provider to generate a response and are stored on your account so you can revisit the conversation. Do not enter passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or confidential company information. Your conversations are not used to train third-party models.

4. Acceptable use of AI on the platform

  • Use the assistant to understand material, test your reasoning, and prepare for assessments.
  • Do not use the assistant, or any external AI tool, to answer live assessment or examination questions.
  • Do not use AI tools to extract, reproduce, or redistribute course content.

5. Capstone examination integrity monitoring

  • Monitoring applies to capstone examinations only, never to lessons or standard course quizzes.
  • You must consent and attest to sitting the examination unaided before it begins. Consent is required to proceed with a capstone.
  • During the examination we request fullscreen, enable your webcam, and record integrity events such as leaving fullscreen, switching tabs or windows, losing focus, and pasting content. Periodic snapshots may be captured.
  • Snapshots and event logs are stored privately, are visible only to platform administrators for review, and are not published or shared with your organization.
  • Repeated events flag the attempt for human review. A human decides the outcome; a flagged attempt may be cleared, failed, or void.
  • Question and option order is shuffled, and the answer key for missed questions is withheld.

6. Reporting problems and contact

If the assistant produces content that is inaccurate, harmful, or inappropriate, or if you believe an integrity decision was wrong, raise a request on our support page at /support (or from "Help & requests" in your dashboard); you can also write to privacy@thebitcoinpivot.com. We will update the version and effective date above when this policy changes materially and ask you to re-accept it.
