Terms of Service

Version 2026-09-06.2 · Effective September 6, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bitcoin Pivot learning platform. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Organization seats are provisioned and may be revoked by your organization's administrators. You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.

2. Purchases, access codes, and refunds

  • Courses and credential paths are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Prices are shown before checkout.
  • Access codes and discount codes are issued at our discretion, may be limited in number, scope, and time, and may be withdrawn if misused.
  • Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase provided you have not completed the final assessment of the purchased course or path. Approved refunds revoke access and any certificate issued from that purchase.
  • Organization purchases are governed by the order or agreement signed with that organization.

3. Assessments, credentials, and integrity

  • Course assessments and capstone examinations must be completed by you, unaided, within the stated attempt and cooldown limits.
  • Capstone examinations use integrity monitoring described in the AI and Assessment Integrity Policy and require your consent.
  • Sharing questions or answers, using another person to sit an examination, or circumventing integrity controls is grounds for flagging, failing, or revoking a credential and terminating the account.
  • Path credentials are valid for two years and require completion of the applicable continuing-education renewal to extend. We may revoke a credential obtained in breach of these terms.

4. Course content and license

All courses, lessons, diagrams, narration, assessments, and certificate designs are owned by The Bitcoin Pivot and protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access purchased or granted content for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, resell, record, scrape, or use the content to train a machine-learning model, and you may not share your account with others.

5. Your content

Notes, bookmarks, and questions you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to deliver the service to you.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access other learners' accounts, records, or organization data.
  • Do not probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the platform or its security controls.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious material.

7. Educational purpose — not financial advice

The platform provides education about Bitcoin and stablecoins. Nothing on it is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and no outcome or return is promised. Digital assets carry significant risk, including total loss. Always obtain advice from qualified professionals licensed in your jurisdiction before acting.

8. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and content may be updated as the subject matter evolves. To the maximum extent permitted by law the platform is provided as is, and our total liability arising from your use of it is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. You may delete your account at any time from Privacy settings. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund outside the refund window above.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the platform are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration agreement below, you and The Bitcoin Pivot agree that the exclusive venue for any permitted court proceeding is the state courts located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waives any objection based on inconvenient forum.

11. Informal resolution and binding arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court and to have a jury trial.

  • Informal resolution first: before starting arbitration, you agree to raise the dispute through our support page and give us 30 days to resolve it. We will do the same before bringing a claim against you.
  • Binding arbitration: if we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, your account, a purchase, or a credential decision will be settled by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator.
  • Seat and hearings: the arbitration will be seated in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Where the rules allow, you may choose to participate by telephone or video, or to have the matter decided on written submissions.
  • Individual basis only: claims must be brought in your individual capacity. You and The Bitcoin Pivot waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. If this waiver is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in the courts named above and the rest of this section still applies.
  • Exceptions: either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property, account security, or examination integrity.
  • 30-day opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending us a request through our support page, or an email to the address below, within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
  • Time limit: any claim must be filed within one year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version and effective date above will change and you will be asked to accept the new version at your next sign-in. Questions and disputes should be raised through our support page at /support, or from "Help & requests" in your dashboard; you can also write to privacy@thebitcoinpivot.com. Cookies and similar technologies are described in our Cookie Policy.
